Collaborative Process in Employment

Employment Law disputes—including employment termination, discrimination, and disabilities issues—are frequently candidates for the successful application of the Collaborative Process. If the the employer or employee hires a collaborative lawyer and if the parties enter into a collaborative law agreement, they can avoid the cost and delay, not to mention the publicity associated with litigation (which can be harmful for both sides). Both sides can then focus on their underlying interests, instead of concentrating on the emotional arguments of litigation which tend to harden the positions of the parties.
